Additional Panasonic SL-SX480A Portable CD Player, Blue Information
|
Panasonic SL-SX480A is a very compact portable CD player. Not only will it play CDs that you buy in stores but it will also play CDR and CDRW discs recorded on your computer, including those encoded with MP3 files. Panasonic has developed new technologies, integrated into the SL-SX480A, that allow for a better listening experience than found on other portable CD players. Advanced D.sound technology is comprised of four components that work together to elevate your audio experience to the next level. A Digital Amplifier helps reduce distortion and also helps you achieve crystal-clear sound?even at higher volume levels. The S-XBS and Digital Audio Gain Control help to improve bass response at higher volume levels and MP3 Re-Master technology allows the listener to receive outstanding sound quality from compressed music files, such as MP3. Harmonized Bass technology reproduces the harmonic series of bass components. This gives the listener the sensation of a fuller bass sound that cannot actually be reproduced with headphones and compact speakers. No-Skip Anti-Skip system lets you run, move, and jog while listening to flawless CD play. Get the most efficiency out of battery power. You can achieve up to 75 hours of MP3 and up to 33 hours of CD-DA playback with just two AA alkaline batteries (not included). Extraordinarily compact, with a diameter at just about the size of a CD itself, the Panasonic SL-SX480A proves itself to be a reliable performer. It's an affordable and practical way to carry music with you - where ever you choose to go. What Customers Say About Panasonic SL-SX480A Portable CD Player, Blue:

I have to refer to the pages enclosed with it to know which button to press, tho I'm getting the habit. This works very well. What I miss is a plug-in to use instead of batteries.
We both still use them - even though she has advanced to an MP3 player. I actually have bought two of these. It may not be high tech, but it works just fine. I use mine mainly when traveling on a plane cross country and it works great. I have always trusted Panasonic and still do. One for me and one for my grandaughter.
Thank you very much. For the price this is a great portable cd player. I could not ask for more. She still likes this because she can carry it around with her in the house and use it when her MP3 player is recharging.
I was really disappointed. It really is a cheap piece of work. It came in the mail, put a CD in it, worked beautifully. A few days later, put a CD in it, wouldn't work at all. I know you get what you pay for, but this wasn't worth what I paid.
you need a magnfying glass to see the buttons which don't stand out and to see the minute display. if you like to put in a mp3 cd and hit play it sounds great and plays everything, good luck if you want to play in the dark or use the controls. I prefer the iriver if you can find one for a few bucks more.
I have an old CD player from way back and it had an adapter. Love the resume feature. Love my Panasonic SL-SX480 but I was really disappointed to find there is not an adapter outlet on the player. Never thought there wouldn't be one on the ones manufactured in this day and time.
